From the very first sip, the depth of sweetness is exceptional—reminiscent of dark muscovado sugar or sugar slowly caramelizing over a flame. Bright, tropical fruit notes like apple mango and passion fruit blend with the concentrated flavor of orange marmalade, evoking the taste of reduced blood orange. Vivid hints of red-fleshed fruits, such as red kiwi and red grapefruit, layer in to create a truly multidimensional fruit profile.

This is an incredibly fresh Kenyan "new crop" release—the earliest one we have ever launched. While the acidity is bright and distinct, it is grounded by a substantial body, resulting in a perfectly balanced cup. Experience a rich yet clean finish, underpinned by deep sweetness and vibrant acidity.

Fair Trade Coffee: The Virtuous Cycle at the Kii Processing Station
The Kii processing station operates on a very small scale, with farms averaging just 0.5 hectares in size, and the workforce consists primarily of women. While coffee is their main source of income, they also cultivate crops such as avocados, macadamia nuts, bananas, beans, and potatoes for self-sufficiency. Kii is known for offering some of the highest compensation to farmers in Kenya; this has encouraged farmers to deliver increasingly high-quality coffee cherries to the station, and the resulting higher earnings have significantly improved their livelihoods.
