The first launch of Dear Blend was in May of last year. Barista Luna gave the blend the name DEAR, and I thought it would fit well at a time when you think of your loved ones. Bean Brothers' baristas wrote letters directly on bean cards made in the form of stationery to convey their hearts to customers who drinks Dear Blend. It is said that Binbro Yeongyu, who is now in Finland, still has the dear card written by the barista Stella at that time.
It is a coffee that remains as a pleasant memory in many ways, so we decided to launch it again in May of this year. Last year, it was a combination of Costa Rica, Peru, and Ethiopia, and this Dear Blend is made of Guatemalan Washed and Papua New Guinea Natural. After enjoying the sweetness of chocolate to your heart's content, it finishes with a subtle fig lingering aftertaste.
Roaster Kev wanted to make coffee with a comfortable flavor that is good for presenting to anyone. I thought it could be monotonous if it was comfortable enough, so I blended Papua New Guinea coffee with an exotic flavor to give it a little bit of special.
It's been a year since the first release, but the message I want to tell you through Dear Blend is still the same. Thank you for visiting Bean Brothers' coffee today. We will see you again next May with another Dear Blend.
