Scent of Subtle Honey and Freshness of Blood Orange
This Burundian coffee has a clear aroma of acacia honey and blood orange, not unlike eating a fresh fruit on a summer's day. Each cup has a distinct profile of red berries, chestnut, caramel and notes of chocolate with a lingering orange acidity.
Refreshing flavours of bourbon varieties and processing technology
Burundi is a country neighboring Rwanda. Although these two countries are often known as places of harsh economic conditions and racial disputes, they are recognised as great potentials in the specialty coffee industry. The bourbon varieties of these two countries in particular have a unique clean sweetness and a good balance of complex acidity. Other than that, the Mpanga Central Washing Station, which processes this coffee, is also a highly-skilled company with first and third prize-winning careers in the Burundi Cup of Excellence. We hope you enjoy the results of the combination of varieties and processing technology.
I wouldn't consider myself as coffee snob, but yeah I love drip coffee early in the morning. This is my first try from Bean Brothers, specifically Burundi Malidadi. I love this bean and would consider buying again when it finishes.
